Утро. Раннее утро. С 5:30 начали проверку теории «белых пятен» сонара. А первая трубка была на борту уже в 6:30 утра.

25 July. 100500 times and gas hydrates on the pie.
Sunrise. A new morning greeted us with a typical British weather; the sea sensed that coring is about to start and the boat began to roll.
25 Июля. 100500 раз и газогидраты на пироге.
Рассвет. Новое утро встретило нас типичной британской погодой, вода, как будто в предчувствии того, что скоро в нее будут входить трубы пробоотбора, начинала волноваться и слегка покачивать судно.
24 July. To save two minutes.
Somnolent rainy lull woke up us in the morning. But louring weather and a big desire to sleep 2 minutes extra can’t hinder combative spirit of expedition participants. Tube is gone, the station account started.
24 Июля. Успеть за две минуты.
Сегодняшнее утро началось под усыпляющую колыбельную дождя. Но пасмурная погода и неимоверное желание поспать еще пару минут не могут помешать боевому настрою участников экспедиции. Трубка брошена, отчет станций пошел.
23 July. Moreover…it’s not over.
According to Dima today was an extremely hot day. According to the thermometer, not so much.

22 July. The further, the more!
The first full working day of this last leg brought us a lot of amazing surprises. First of all, from the very morning, instead of the usual wake up time at 7:30, I heard a phrase: “Ship time is 7:40, it is time to wake up”, therefore all participants were happy to sleep 10 minutes extra. Rested and pleased from the sunny weather, all participants met for breakfast. Today were served our “old friend ” semolina (i.e. porridge) and scrambled eggs.

Первый полноценный рабочий день заключительного лега принес множество удивительных сюрпризов. Для начала, с самого утра вместо положенного времени 7:30, прозвучала фраза «Судовое время 7 часов 40 минут, объявляется подъем», благодаря которой участникам экспедиции удалось поспать еще лишних 10 минут, что, несомненно, обрадовало большинство из них, в том числе и меня. Выспавшиеся и довольные солнечной погодой участники экспедиции встретились на завтраке, где на этот раз подавалась старая добрая манная каша и яичница.
21 July. Investigating the past we understand the present and forecast the future
The day started unusually quietly. Our research vessel “G. Yu. Vereshchagin” reached Listvyanka during the night. Since we were adjusted to the sound of the constantly working engines of the ship, now the silence makes us feel as deaf. And the absence of the boat swinging also makes us feel strange. After two weeks in the lake you begin to adjust to the unusual conditions. Everybody was enthusiast about our excursion to the Limnological museum, most participants of the second leg were happy to walk for several kilometers to the museum, and the thirst of new knowledge of participants of the third leg dominated on theirs fatigue from the flight.
